Realise – the gateway to unlocking your potential

The college is committed to ensuring that all students reach their potential by supporting them to achieve a higher-level qualification. It is the central gateway to graduate employment and employer engagement, offering practical advice, support, training and development in the following areas:

  • successful progression into either appropriate graduate employment or further higher-level studies
  • individual and group careers advice and guidance
  • promoting the skills, qualities and behaviours required in the workplace
  • making the most of work placements and/or work-related learning opportunities
  • networking with employers through industry initiatives, employer panels and conferences
  • planning the transition into the workplace, including CV writing, job applications and interview techniques
  • providing guidance on setting up a business
  • accessing job opportunities and further training, online, in-house and via our partner universities.

Become work-ready with employability skills

All of our courses are vocational and have been designed with employers so you will learn the skills, knowledge and attitudes that recruiters are looking for. We do this by creating opportunities for you to be exposed to what’s really happening in the industry so most of our courses have a work-related element which could be a formal work placement.
