The Career Advisory Service
You will continue to have access to our career services after you graduate as we support you in your professional development.
Alumni who graduated within the last two years are entitled to use the full range of services offered to existing students which includes the use of the Careers Service Information Room, library, workshops, employer presentations and careers events. You are also able to access the employability section on our moodle to search for job opportunities.
Experienced alumni who graduated more than two years ago are welcome to use some of the services offered to existing students and recent alumni, such as the Careers Service Information Room and library. You are able to use our jobs board to view opportunities relevant for more experienced alumni.
Mentoring Programme
Here at the college, we believe strongly in improving the employability of our students, and so who better to pass on their knowledge than those successful professionals who were once students here themselves?
Our mentoring programme is an opportunity for former graduates to provide the next generation of MOC students with practical advice about succeeding in various fields and help them make the transition from student to employee or entrepreneur.
The programme matches alumni members with a recent graduate and lasts for six months, during which six contacts are made, including at least one face-to-face meeting. Full training, guidance, support and networking events are provided to help all parties make the most of the experience.
Willing mentors and mentees are invited to the next mentoring workshop to learn new skills, network and join the mentor/mentee programme.
ATTEND AN ALUMNI EVENT
Alumni are invited to attend a wide variety of events, organised by the College or by fellow alumni. Alumni are welcome to attend a range of lectures.
If none of our scheduled events appeal, we can support you in organising your own event.
You can keep in touch with MOC and find out about the latest news, alumni events and networking opportunities in our monthly newsletter. Read the latest issue and make sure we have your email address so you can receive future editions.
